Stars on Canvas Framing Competition

Could you add a quirky edge to Tom Lewis’ inimitable illustrations?

The Stars on Canvas Fine Art Framer of the Year

International artist and self-proclaimed paint pirate, Lewis, is to produce a stunning piece of original art, in aid of national charity Willow, and the signed, numbered & certified limited edition prints will be sent out to picture framers and galleries all over the UK to be framed as part of a competition which begins this month. Fine Art Trade Guild members are invited to enter the competition and be in with a chance of being crowned ‘Stars on Canvas Fine Art Framer of the Year’.

The creative and innovative framing of the prints, which are expected to become artworks in their own right, will be judged by the great and the good of the art & framing world, so far including representatives from Wishbone PublishingFine Art Trade Guild and Arqadia, with more to be confirmed. Once completed, the artworks can be displayed at the entrant’s galleries across the country, before being sent into our headquarters to prepare for judging and then later auctioned online for the Charity.

The limited edition prints will have an image size of 20″x20″ with a run of only 45 Limited editions.

To apply to take part in the competition, email sarah-jane.thompson@willowfoundation.org.uk by August 1, 2016.

The original artwork and framed edition competition entries will raise much needed funds for Willow – the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.

The original artwork, by Tom Lewis will be displayed at the Willow art initiative, Stars on Canvas 2016, in November, which sees more than 200 original artworks created by top artists and celebrities, displayed at a West London gallery location (TBA) and then auctioned online in aid of Willow.
